What is rider float?
A rider float is the cash a delivery rider is holding on your behalf at any moment during the day, before it is remitted.

Counting it at closing is the traditional method, and it is why the difference is discovered too late to explain.
Tracking it as it accrues turns an argument into a number, and lets you set a limit at which a rider is prompted to come in.
